What This Page Covers

This page explains how to request deletion of your WatchLocal.ai data, including all data we collected from connected platforms on your behalf — Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, Google Business Profile, and any others authorized through our Access Connect feature.

What Gets Deleted

When you request data deletion, we permanently remove:

All OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens for your connected platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google, and any others).
Your business profile information (name, address, phone, website, contact, hours, services).
All audit history, visibility scores, and reports we have generated for your business.
Any photos, videos, and media you uploaded through Photo/Video Drop.
Cached data we collected from connected platforms (Page posts and metadata, Page reviews and recommendations, Page conversations, Instagram posts, Instagram comments, Instagram direct messages, Google Business Profile data, etc.).
Any AI-generated content drafts that have not yet been published to your platforms.
All operational logs and metadata associated with your account.

Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify your specific business may be retained for service improvement, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

How to Request Data Deletion

Follow these steps to request that all your WatchLocal.ai data be deleted:

Send an email to david@watchlocal.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Include in the email body: (a) the business name associated with your WatchLocal.ai account, and (b) the email address you used to onboard with us. This is so we can identify the records to delete.
We will reply within 2 business days to confirm receipt and to verify the request was sent by an authorized representative of the business.
Once verified, we revoke all OAuth tokens for your connected platforms (Facebook Pages, Instagram Business, Google Business Profile, and any others), then purge your business records, audit history, OAuth tokens, and uploaded media from our production storage and from backups within 7 business days.
You will receive a final confirmation email when deletion is complete.

Faster Path: Revoke OAuth Access First

If you authorized WatchLocal through Facebook Login and want to revoke our access immediately without waiting for an email reply:

Go to Facebook Business Integrations.
Find WatchLocal in the list of connected business integrations.
Click Remove. This revokes our Meta access tokens immediately and stops any further activity from our agents on your Pages or Instagram Business account.

Removing the integration on Facebook does NOT delete the business data we already collected on your behalf — for that, follow the email procedure above.

For Google services, visit Google Account Permissions and remove WatchLocal from the list of third-party apps.

Timeline

From the moment you send the deletion request email to final confirmation:

Within 2 business days: We reply to confirm receipt and verify your authorization.
Within 7 business days: All data described above is purged from production storage and from any backups containing it.
Final confirmation email: Sent once deletion is verified complete.
